Reach higher than
the diagnosis

How do I know if my child is ready for ABA therapy?

If your child has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, or is showing signs of developmental delays, ABA therapy can help — no matter where they're starting from. We work with toddlers as young as 18 months all the way through age 12. During the initial assessment, our BCBA will evaluate your child's needs and create a personalized treatment plan based on their strengths and goals.

What does ABA therapy actually look like?

ABA therapy is one-on-one time where your child works on real skills through play, practice, and positive reinforcement. Sessions might look like playing with toys to work on communication, practicing getting dressed, or learning to take turns with games. It's structured but flexible — your RBT follows a plan designed by your BCBA, but adjusts based on what's working and how your child is responding that day. Services happen in your home, at school, or in the community.

How long does it take to get started?

Once you reach out, you’ll have the option to schedule a call with us right away. If you prefer not to schedule immediately, our intake team will still reach out to connect with you, answer any questions, and help guide you through next steps. From there, we’ll verify insurance, schedule the initial assessment, and work with your family to develop a treatment plan and match your child with an RBT. Timelines can vary based on insurance approvals, but we move as efficiently as possible to get  services in place so your child can begin making progress.

Does insurance cover ABA therapy?

Yes — ABA therapy is widely covered by insurance, including Medicaid and many commercial plans. We currently accept Utah Medicaid and Colorado Medicaid, with Coverage varies, so we'll verify your benefits during intake and then explain your family's eligibility. We'll also handle the billing and paperwork so you don't have to navigate it alone.

We've worked with another provider before - how is Reach Higher different?

We know every family's experience is different. What sets us apart is how we show up: our smooth day-to-day operations, open communication, and leadership that's involved from day one. You'll have a dedicated point of contact, regular progress updates, and a team that prioritizes follow-through. If you've been looking for a provider you can count on, that's what we're here to be.
